Sirio Carrapa (born in Borgagne, Italy, 12 May 1952) is an Italian mystic and a unique Western Master of Surat Shabd Yoga or Sant Mat, who teaches and sets an example of practice of this spiritual path. He is also an expert in Ayurveda. == Biography == He was born on 12 May, in 1952 in Borgagne, which is in one of the southernmost regions of Italy, Apulia. He lived there with his parents and four siblings until the age of 10, then in 1962 the family moved to Milan. He lived there until he moved to Tuscany, in the village Ribolla (Grosseto) in 1979, where he founded the ''Sant Bani Ashram''.〔Most of the information about his life can be found in his autobiography ''Il Cammino Verso L'Illuminazione'' (The Path towards Enlightenment) published by M.I.R.
